1. Monster Rockin’ Roller Bluetooth Speaker
Product Description:
I have had a Tailgater for a long time and it was pretty good until the circuit board went South on me and it would not recharge anymore. I was reluctant to buy anything else because I’d heard so many of them and they sounded horrible, Hollow, and low quality. I finally bought this thing and I have to say it is amazing. It sounds fantastic lots of features, looks great, great quality. I can’t be happier. am: two. Two handles and wheels are of great value.
I was looking for a portable Bluetooth speaker for walk-up songs and music for youth softball and baseball games, at the middle range price point. I wanted it to deliver good sound and base be durable in the rain, and have a good battery life. This Monster speaker delivers in spades on all points. Excellent speaker for the purpose and price. You won’t be disappointed!
2. YIER Bluetooth Speakers
Product Description:
This is not a computer-generated review I bought this. I love the compatibility of the speaker it’s not huge and it’s not big either and has a handle you can carry anywhere. Connects quickly and it’s wireless. The volume on it hits loud and the quality of the sound is great to me. I use it to connect to my Samsung TV and I’m going to get another at this price.
The con I’ve been dealing with is if you move the speaker while it playing the sounds get interfered. Also, I’ve been trying to get my headphones to plug in while I have the Bluetooth connected as my wife sleeps so it’s not blaring but so far as soon as the plug goes into the aux it switches mode automatically. There is probably a way to do it.
That is all I have so far as I can’t say anything at this time about the durability or the battery life as I’m going to have it plugged in for time and not going to be moving it. All in all the $60-80 price tag is a bargain for this speaker so remember folks you get what you pay for and I’d say it’s worth the money spent. I’ll update this if it changes
3. ION Block Rocker Bluetooth Speaker
Product Description:
Man! I already have an ION in my bar and it’s great. I needed one that was portable so I could use it on my boat. I didn’t want to spend money on a system to be installed in my boat. I pulled this bad boy out of the box and connected to Bluetooth and I jammed out for at least an hour straight because I kept wanting to hear just one more great jam to see how it would sound. I listened for at least an hour on the job’s loudest setting and never got any battery shortage warnings.
All good there. The sound is clear, the bass hits hard and you could throw a decent house party with this one machine. When I told my girlfriend how little it cost, she said “Why?” Exceeded expectations by a long shot.
4. BUGANI Bluetooth Speaker
Product Description:
Rugged portable speaker, loud enough for outdoor use. I have an installed outdoor stereo with great speakers. It requires a dedicated app and my wife gets frustrated trying to use it. This works directly off of our smartphones, with whatever streaming service, or with the music files stored on your phone. The battery takes a while to charge if you run it out. A quick-charge battery option would be great. The “TF” (micro SD memory card) option works great, but as far as I can tell, you have no way to select what plays.
It just runs through the card in order. A party mix SD card would be a great, and easy way, to provide mobile music. I tried several open-source, and lossless file formats, and unbelievably, it played them. I’m sure it would play those nearly worthless (IMHO) .mp3 files too. Two woofer speakers, and two tweeter speakers, upfront. There are two things on the back, that people are calling “sub-woofers”. I believe they are actually, mass-loaded passive (bass) radiators.
That is an improvement over a ported enclosure (not waterproof) or a sealed air suspension cabinet (inefficient). I have no idea if they are “optimized” for the bass drivers, and phase coherency, but they do add the bass punch people like for dance parties. Sounds better than most “boom boxes”, and is simple to pair and play. Audiophile quality? Not even close, to critical high-definition playback, in a controlled environment. They are not made (or priced) for that.
Mobile music with an outdoor amplified vibe, and extra bass, is what this Bluetooth audio appliance does well. With an equalizer application, you can adjust the sound coloration, and turn the volume down, for ambient background music indoors. Very nice for the price, especially compared to some of the other more compact, Bluetooth, battery-powered, mobile speakers that mumble something barely recognizable as music.
The only inconsistency I discovered with mine so far is that the book says the charging indicator LED, (NOT the front upper left status LED) will switch from red to blue when the battery is at 100%. Mine does not, it goes from solid red to blinking red. As someone else explained, you can check the battery state of charge, with the Bluetooth app on your smartphone, once you are paired.
5. Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Product Description:
First off, this speaker impressed me with the quality of sound it produced. I wouldn’t compare it to Bose or JBL but it’s as close as one can get for the price. The ability it has to auto pair with a similar device to further enhance the stereo effect and increase that subwoofer feel was something I enjoyed about this. Perfect for parties or camping/beach settings. This thing for its size can get very loud, especially when paired with an additional portable speaker. I tested this out and got rattling windows in my home. Very powerful.
The minor and trivial annoyances for me are the icon designs used for their buttons. I was trying to figure out the settings button only to realize that was a Bluetooth indicator that doesn’t serve any purpose as a button since pressing it does nothing on both of my devices. Speaking of settings, while this is a powerful speaker, it lacks a lot of mid to highs in terms of sound clarity. It’s not muddy but just not very clear and sometimes weak depending on what you’re listening to.
That said, however, this wouldn’t be an issue for listening to most modern music. Another annoyance is the USB connection for charging other devices. Understanding that this is not intended as a power bank, this feature for emergency charging as the flyer states is weak at best even when a dead phone remains powered off while charging. I tested using my two-year speakers and after an hour I was able to get roughly 5% battery. The USB port will not provide any power whatsoever unless you turn the device on.
This wouldn’t be a problem but the device will then auto shut down after a few minutes of not receiving an audio signal. I tested this out with several devices and was able to register a very small draw of power, enough to tell a device that a charge exists but the voltage is so low that it won’t charge if the device screen is on and using said power. A redesign to enable it to act as a power bank would help.
So long story short, great bass, a good stereo effect especially when paired with another similar speaker, and a very decent battery life. Will most definitely fill up a room with sound. Bad power supply for emergencies don’t even bother trying to use it as such. Unless it truly is an emergency and your device needing the boost is turned off. Ignoring lackluster power bank use, this is a great portable speaker that is very comparable to some higher-end brand-name items out on the market.
