This is exactly what I was looking for. I don’t concrete forming and I use this tool for nailing plywood or 2x’s to the concrete this works perfectly for forming tie beams, foundation forms, and overall formwork.

For the concrete shooting make sure to buy the right nails though…don’t buy roofing nails they’ll just bend when you shoot them into the concrete.

This is a good nail gun for the money. Don’t expect The 5-Year Professional Warranty Statement to really mean anything if the Gun Malfunctions after use in a Commercial Situation. Any Nail Gun will need rebuilding after a certain amount of normal usage.

Don’t expect the Warranty to cover any kind of repair for normal usage. It is nothing more than a selling point! Looks good on paper. With that said it is a good gun that holds up well in day-to-day use. Worth the Price.

Good tool, easy to use, and well balanced. Coming in at just over 8 lbs it sounds heavy but it is so well balanced it feels lighter than that. The aluminum nail tube is light and strong, the air chuck is offset to keep the air hose off to the side and out of your way. The heavy-duty metal belt clip is reversible for left or correct-handed users. I fired over 1,000 nails with ZERO issues. Keyless depth adjustment is nice also. Stop scrolling and buy this framing nailer.

I grew up in construction and have used several brands. I picked this one up to complete my shop this year. As expected, solid design, is easy to use and I am sure will last me many many years.

I have never used cordless products: Nailers, Saws, etc but can see they remove the complexity of keeping your hoses from tangling up with you and your project. If I ever tackle a big project again, I may go cordless but this one will do me well for the foreseeable future.

So, I am not a framer, but some jobs call for some framing. I had an old Porter Cable and it finally died in the middle of a job. It had already been repaired a couple of times so it was time for the graveyard. Saw this Makita on sale and took a chance as I am a big Makita fan. At first, it seemed big and heavy but then I got used to it and loved it.

Yes dragging a hose sucks but not as bad as the price of a new Paslode! Good nail capacity and it ended up having several guys use it without breaking it. Everyone liked it. One guy said it was a little too big but if a 59-year-old man can handle it then so can you. That being said, I am not banging that thing all day. But I did find the more I used it I got used to the weight and realized it is well-balanced when you let it fly. And the price is right.

There is a learning curve for this nailer, depressing the safety is not required, just line up the nail which is extended, and fire. When you get down to the end of a clip of nails, it can misfire, so add a new clip.
This is at least 5x as fast as nailing by hand, and much safer. I just finished a deck job with over 60 joist hangers, and I a pretty sure it just paid for itself.

The only reason that I rated the ease of use as a 4 instead of a 5 is because the capacity of the gun is only one rack of nails. While I think this is fairly common among these gun types, due to the diameter of the nails themselves, and possibly the angle of the nail compilation, and not really a function of the gun itself, I find myself running out of “ammo” at the most inopportune times and I have to reload the gun.
That said, the gun worked flawlessly and never misfired. So, it does rate a 5 in “easy to use.”

I have been looking for the right set of nail guns for me for quite a while. I like to buy an item that I will not have to replace, and if I do it’s because I used it so much and so heavily that it was time for it to be replaced. I can tell these tools will meet that expectation.

Before I ordered this set, I read every single good and bad review on Amazon. What I saw was a lot of amazing reviews about the quality of the tool and the company’s customer service. On the handful of less-than-perfect reviews, I saw where the company that handles the warranty contacted the customer and assured them that they would make it right. You just don’t see that from many companies, so that was enough to hit Buy.

They came in last week and I used them over the weekend, my wife said I played with them. Each of the tools was easy to use, and pretty easy to adjust the depth. I had a little bit of trouble loading the nails into the finisher, but it was just my lack of experience with the tool. “Not quite a Pro Tip”, line the nails up on the back of the receiver when pushing them in. I tried lining them up on the front, didn’t work quite well. As for psi, I had read that a lot of people were running around 90 psi on the framer, and I was also able to. I was able to run 80-90 on each of them and they all cycled perfectly.

Also, the bag that they come with is very heavy-duty and has a spot for each gun. I plan on building a rack to hang them from above or beside my workbench, but I look forward to using the bag when I go to friends’ homes to help with projects.

If you are looking for your first set of nail guns or you need to replace an older one, buy these. You won’t be disappointed, and you will save a ton of money over a lot of other brands, tow though I have handled these, I don’t think the others meet the Freeman quality.

I hate to use the word cheap to define this Nailer/Stapler. I will use the word extremely affordable. Taking that into consideration and I have used it three times since receiving it, I have only had some very very very minor malfunctions/inconveniences. Not being able to see when you run out of Staples or nails and the more significant one is the little actuator for the trigger is not real Stout so it can become misaligned with the trigger and that is part of what you get for 8:34 piece of equipment you that the name brands sell for between $90 and $115 depending on the sale and the name brand and where you purchase it.

Taking all of that into consideration this is an AWESOME piece of equipment and in the three times I have used it as done everything I asked it to do from 2-in finish nails or Brad’s to a couple hundred 1&5/8″ narrow Crown Staples without a single stuck staple or misfire or staple that was not set correctly or “countersunk” for lack of a better term.

This comes with a nice little case and some 1-in brads, some 2-in brads, and some narrow crown staples as well as light lubricating oil.

So, if you are doing simple homeowner jobs around the house, not commercial use, this will do the job for you at a price that is easy on the pocketbook and does the job adequately.
